Lugemik is a small independent publishing initiative in Tallinn, Estonia, founded in 2010 by graphic designer Indrek Sirkel and artist Anu Vahtra. Lugemik publishes small editions of books and other printed matter, working closely together with artists, writers, designers, printers in every step of the publishing process.


In 2013 Lugemik opened a bookshop on the premises on Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia (EKKM). Lugemik Bookshop specializes in art books in the broadest sense. Curated in collaboration with representatives of different fields, a selection of publications on contemporary art, film, theater, culture and art theory, philosophy, design, architecture etc can be found in the shop. Lugemik Bookshop brings together art and design related printed matter from both Estonia and abroad, with the focus on independnet publishers.
